Draco arrived in Australia on 21st December 2005 to join Dlarah Kennels, he spent 30 days at the Eastern Creek Quarantine Station before finally on 21st January arriving at his new home in Bathurst NSW.

Special thanks to Halla for not only breeding Draco but for her wonderful care, love and training while he under went his quarantine requirements in Finland before his departure for Australia. Halla's care ensured that Draco was able to cope and adjust to his new environment with little stress. I feel that this sort of collaboration between breeders is necessary to continue to diversify this breeds limited gene pool.

Draco has proven himself not only a a highly successful showdog at breed and in show level but in the whelping box. He is the sire of some wonderful also highly successful progeny in Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Finland. In addition grandsire to the UK's top Swedish Vallhund Bitch Ch Starvon Rumour Has it.

Draco has a very high opinion of himself he is the ultimate showman, seeking out attention from anyone around him. Contray to comments made by some bitter rivals Draco has a wonderful, charming, balanced character endearing himself to all. He ensures that his audience knows they are in his presence.

In addition Draco has had many handlers who he takes on to his many successes. Thanks to all those who have helped show him; Erica Stubbings, Joan Hutton, Michelle & Sue Brazier, Danny Gilson, Anne Hickey & Ann Lamberton to name a few. His success and his many admirers totally dispell the negative myths that have been muttered about him. Draco is a once in a life tme dog. My very special man.
